replacing my shitty backdoored google nest home network with unifi. looks like nixos has a unifi package so i can self host the controller.
the nest was forcing double nat in mesh mode, such a garbag...
i have unifi ap connected to openwrt
banana pi r3 and installed a controller on my mac and also iphone app connected to controller. Its working perfectly and no issues. Also used have unifi USG but banana pi better with regular updates.
