The US services for this models are like 5-20x more expensive than the Chinese competition while this companies still have 10:1 expenses over revenue or something crazy along this lines.

And even opensourcing them would simply make them less revenue while no one would probably run them, except for destilation, as for all we know they need much more compute for similar results.
