@nprofile1q... Once upon a time, I had a project at the job, I had to install like 10 multifunction printers (the ones with scanners on top) on one workstation so they could work if not simultaneously then at least 3 of them at one tine.

Easy task for Linux, but not all of the printers had the appropriate drivers, and they were pretty old. So we had to do it on Windows 7.

I was prepared to feel all fuzzy and nostalgic for the times Windows was at least some degree of good.

Well, my nostalgia glasses shattered immediately when I started seeing "hardware conflict" errors. This motherfucker can't even enumerate USB devices properly. I had to work through countless glitches and inconsistencies even when the drivers were by the same manufacturer.

Nah. Windows was never good.
