To mirror all Twitter/X posts to Nostr using their new paid API, it would cost $12.5 million dollars per month. I did the math. This is probably why they wanted to shut down Nitter.
How can they shut down nitter? Isn't it something foss on github? Or is it already a company with a bank account? What stop folks installing bitter in their servers?
