@nprofile1q... That was more "anti" than I remembered. I recall some video or piece of writing which was more enthusiastic about the possibilities of tailored education.
The normal school syllabus can be finished quite quickly (or ignored), thus leaving much time for either specialized studies or more practical lessons (many children reach the end of their schooling being unable to perform basic household or work tasks, or lacking basic knowledge in relation to health, investments, etc.).
Children will be more likely to learn if they are given a "why", which schools seldom do.
