I had a mk4 setup with rolls and passphrase and decided to move it. I didnt feel confident in the firmware’s integrity in taking rolls and generating a seed….especially a rushed firmware update.
That said, a 6-8 word bip-39 password should offer ample added protection should your seed be brute forced.
I’m not an expert and have spent an enormous time reading this weekend when I should be doing other things including sleeping.
Many in the same boat….reconsidering everything and trying to map out security risks.
