They tried:
- "Smart contracts" (but needed foundations to bail out hacks)
- "Faster/cheaper" (but centralized = just use a database)
- "Web3" (rent-seeking middlemen with extra steps)
- "DeFi" (leverage casinos that implode every cycle)
Meanwhile Bitcoin just keeps doing the one thing: being money no one controls.
Turns out that is the only use case that matters.
