It is beyond a bit demotivating. From someone looking at it from a strictly podcaster's point of view, the promise of simple, anonymous podcast payments has seemingly gotten steadily worse since it was launched. It's simply too much of a hassle at this point for any non-techie podcaster to deal with.

Even announcing a live show is still totally a crapshoot as to whether the bat signal will get out.
