You want me to give up all the advantages of bitcoin just so I gain more privacy (if even that is true)? I don't think so.
Monero has most of the advantages of Bitcoin, with more privacy (which is a *massive* advantage in and of itself). I'm not saying Bitcoin doesn't have a purpose, because it certainly does. The bulk of our wealth should be concentrated in it but when you can see every transaction a person has ever made, that's a major problem. That's where privacy coins can be incredibly helpful.
