You got a couple points but damn dude imprisoned for life a significant % of the population is crazy (yet again that’s where we currently are)

why not just prison reform that actually rehabilitates these people instead of institutionalizing them for life

forgot what country it was but i watched a documentary it was a super cold European country where 0.5% is a repeat offender because of the work they do to rehabilitate these people while they’re incarcerated

Yeah the Nordic countries don't treat imprisonment as 100% punishment. For many prisoners it is actually beneficial for a country to educate & teach skills to them rather than have them back in the streets to commit more crimes.
