Yeah it’s crazy when I moved up here. Back home you might see a couple thousand birds at a time during migration. Up here, you can drive past a lake and see almost half a million birds in one place. And the behaviour is different up here. The scavenger species like crows and ravens especially. You literally cannot leave a bag in the box of your truck without it being torn up. I’ve seen people dash into the gas station convenience store on their way home from the grocery store who left their groceries in their pickup box. And the ravens are on it like right now lol.
