I think nostr is better suited to replace the phone number sooner than social media.

I think this happens through a number of 'other' apps using its identity and the common sign in creates a network effect.

On social media, I think the best angle for nostr is that it allows exclusive bubbles, where you can know everyone is a real person or has passed a selection criteria to be invited to join the relay.
