I’d say I have conviction in the matter. That’s the fairest way to put it without pretending I know another man’s heart or motives.

We all go down that rabbit hole. It’s captivating. You start pulling one thread and the whole thing unravels the world you thought you understood. Money, time, incentives, none of it looks the same after.

Conviction’s not the problem. It’s what a man does with it once he’s got it.
