People used to just be drunk all the time because water could kill them. Even kids were given weaker versions of mead, wine and beer. This was one of the first examples of purification of water. Can you imagine a world where people were just hammered all the time?

I think the deep state poisoned the water with dysentery at mass scale, and the only clean water available was used to make alcoholic beverages to keep people drunk and thoughtless. Dysentery and other stuff that they used to infect water with was the old way of keeping the sheeple in their place. ...
