Many people! I would certainly put sats towards such an effort. The winning tx could collect them all at once.
That would help. I still think designing prediction markets would reveal the perceived probability over time and so would be a big improvement over pure donations. Doing them on-chain cleanly so you can sell the position is impossible to do without sophisticated covenants though.
