Two solutions to this are coming, if all goes right :Check:

1 | Different (community) app catalogs:
Allowing you to select which ones you want to see apps from. With the main Zapstore one probably :110percent: focused on self-published, open-source, non-beta apps.

Another default catalog for alpha/beta app testing is also gonna be great imo.

Another one for mirroring Playstore abundance (with the trust compriomises that come with getting apps from the indexer clarified of course).

Besides that, the field will be open for others to create catalogs of their own, focusing on whatever niche they need to.

2 | Labels
Letting users label apps with whatever they feel is useful. And then you filter by that.

Thanks for the inside. I was more referring to app directly pull from Github repo, here you get the stable and pre-release tag already so you could filter like Obtainium is doing I guess.
