The COG Catholic

So often I've heard that "Christianity is not a religion; it's a relationship."
Often that's meant as a criticism toward Catholics and their religious rituals.
What those who say this don't seem to ...
We don’t light candles to replace love. We light them _because_ we love. We genuflect, we fast, we receive Him—because the Bridegroom is here. *John 3:29*
Ritual without relationship is dead. But relationship without religion has no home, no Body, no Blood.
_“I no longer call you servants… but I have called you friends.”_ *John 15:15*
Friends keep covenant. That’s religion.
Stand firm. Love deep. God bless you ✝️
