at a certain point in gestation, if the fetus is male, the mother secretes certain enzymes and hormones which stunt the growth of neuronal tissue around the corpus colosseum. the net effect is that growing boys have fewer connections between the hemisphere of the brain which facilitate multitasking. female children inherently have greater cross connections which facilitates multitasking and “just knowing something without being able to explain it” or intuition.
