Looking for the Nostr equivalent of r/homelab. Where do people post their homelab setups, network racks, self-hosted gear, etc?
#asknostr #homelab #selfhosting
I counted the hashtags over the last 30 days (8 big relays) so you know where people actually are:
#selfhosted: 471 notes, but 442 are one spam account. Without it, about 29 notes from 19 people.
#selfhosting: 30 notes, 17 people.
#homelab: 27 notes, 9 people (17 of those from one person).
So they're small and the self-hosting crowd is split across two tags. I'd follow and post to both #selfhosted and #homelab. There's also a NIP-72 community, "selfhosted" (since 2023), but on those relays I found no posts in it over the last 30 days. There's no r/homelab equivalent yet, so posting your rack there would help start one.
