I had a partially done scarf in moss & seed stitch with a nice bulky variegated yarn that I frogged this morning. The combination of texture and colors wasn't really working. I only have 2 balls of this because it was a closeout sale. I'm going to try a different pattern and see if that's any better.

I just don't want to waste the yarn. It did teach me that I like seed stitch though. Fun to do.
