as for the refugee example that is also not acknowledging the reality.
warlords will simply torture everyone to give up their bitcoin whether they have any or not. and then kill everyone.
once you cease viewing human life with any value then you can quite happily tourture and kill 100 people on the chance 1 of them gives up their coin.

bitcoin is great and can change some things, but ultimately its just a currency and store of value. those that think it will usher in some sort of nirvana are deluded. quite frankly, a lot of it is cult-like

Fair point — anyone claiming Bitcoin (or anything else) will mean literally “no more wars ever” would be delusional. War has existed as long as humans have, and it probably always will in some form because of human nature and evil. No serious person expects nirvana or utopia from a money. W...
