I did all that. My issue was I took away too much egg whites and the water was probably too hot. They essentially were 60% cooked yellow balls.
Water should be hot. Almost boiling… a few drops of vinegar, make the water spin (with a spoon), drop the egg, leave it there for 3 to 3.5 minutes, keep the water temperature up (but not boiling), and that should do the job ☀️
