At some point I will put pen to paper on my views around the progressive bitcoiner movement in the space, @The Progressive Bitcoiner the org, and my own journey in this space (personally, politically, and just life goals wise).
That said I feel it imperative to at least say, for now, that yes @The Progressive Bitcoiner is still an org (501c3) in a bit of standby mode — as recommended by the board, for now — in the event that momentum picks up to where there is a real purpose and use case for the org. Funding was always challenging, and for those that did support us I sincerely appreciate it — every sat we did put to good use. Any recurring donations that were placed in the past have been turned off the beginning of this year.
I, and many other members, have turned our pursuits, time, and talent to other things in the space. Me whole heartedly to My First Bitcoin and the work of global bitcoin education, adaption, and freedom and empowerment for global communities in general.
Any questions or comments, feel free to DM. Thank you all 🧡
