Have you considered the second hand market ?? Here in the UK we have a lot of outlets that deal in second hand computer part's.. And would that have any issues from a privacy stand point ??

We are all waiting for them to stop manipulating the market. They could easily ramp up production if there was genuine scarcity.

Storage is only getting cheaper...

Hard drives at least, SSDs are only slightly increased right now. Ai needs ultra fast memory. That's ram and sometimes SSDs but most consumer grade SSDs are not useful for ai. I don't suspect the price of storage to increase very much and will continue to decline like they always have.

Also... I have a bunch of SSDs laying around. I would be glad to donate to you. Most are around 500gb though

If you think prices are high now, wait until the goobermint starts funding the build out because it's still a net negative ROI. 🤔

This is hyperinflation getting ho real goods first. You can see it wherever there is real demand.
