It's more of a matter of your knowledge, your skills, and then a matter of what you already can do (or still can't do) with the new system.
I've been amazed at how easy it's been to move most of my network from fiat to the sha256 chain, and now from the sha256 chain to the blake2b chain.
Plebs have to put in the time to help the newbies. And there's still a lot of P2P building to do.
