Also that doctor was clearly ignorant ass. Some doctors use IH as a diagnosis that they drop on people when their sleep tests fail to fit narcolepsy diagnosis (those tests are proven to be very stressful and not everyone can calm down to sleep when wired and tagged from dozens of places in a strange environment). But IH is it's own, real diagnosis - even when doctors don't know jack about it and make stupid assumptions.
