It used to bother me when people judged me unfairly, I would spend time trying to counter their misperceptions etc… then one day I realized I just flat out don’t give a fuck and it hasn’t bother...
Really it’s one of the first rules of life. Do not care what others think of you. They are simply judging you through their own biases. Be respectful but also don’t give a fuck.
