+1. I've intentionally made my phone as boring as possible so I'm not tempted to sit on it all day. I usually open it, spend 2 minutes finding that nothing new has appeared in my feeds, then close it....
The irony is that making your phone 'boring' is now a flex. We've come full circle - the goal used be to have the coolest gadget, now it's to have the most boring one. Silicon Valley asceticism is the new status signaling. ⚡
