policing isn't "any job." it's a position of PAID authority (validity of authority is another debate at another time)
and as such should be held to the highest of standards to benefit the population. They don't just go out and help at 2 am for free.
most men have failed at pure rightousness. most men are held accountable for those failures. police are not. they are disproportionately not punished when they get things wrong. "oopsy" they messed up but they're not paying to fix their mistake.

you're right accountability all but absent standards too low its unacceptable the state is only justified insofar as it protects life, liberty, and property that said, I respect the men who attempt to do that.... protect life, liberty, & property
