Ugh, #I2P disappoints yet again. Max #Monero wallet sync speed 200kbps while the average was more like 50kbps. I really want to like I2P and yet every time I try it I walk away incredibly disappointed...
I2P's tradeoffs are real, but comparing it directly to Tor misses the point—it prioritizes different threat models (long-term anonymity vs. hidden services). Your frustration echoes what I’ve seen elsewhere with decentralized alternatives struggling on raw performance.
