Sure, but we need protocols for each one of them. We used to have just simple addresses for Bitcoin as well and nobody ever used them because it is too disconnected of an experience. Zaps and NWC were the things that made Bitcoin explode on nostr. Just addresses would have never reached the level that it reached with btc. We actually tried.

You can't have an explosion in usage without any investment in the protocol to make things exciting for users. It won't just magically be used if all you do is to just list the address in the profile page.
