Kind of funny that recoil and size of pistol are inversely related. Heavier pistol typically less recoil. Magnum cartridges are heavy revolvers for a reason. To help my wife understand i had her shoot a Beretta 92 and a Walther PPS. Same caliber but very different recoil level
