i think it's because if you were willing to accept a zero knowledge proof, you probably weren't on the side of censorship/fascism/authoritarianism

whereas those who want that stuff (digital id, age verification), actually want to destroy privacy and freedom, so KYC is a win-win for them

A first step would be underground warehouses in every town. You let a proxyshopper send to their address. They collect the parcel. You go there & provide them with a proof.
