many people are always trying to "Keep up with the Joneses" and stick themselves in poverty forever buying shit they do not need.
This isn’t even the case though in my family in 75% of the cases.
It is though in some, and previous generation it was easier to recover from much bad decisions. Now days if you make a few bad purchases, get into bad debt, it is almost impossible to climb your way out. I have seen this and the only way out was to have their parents pay their debts.
