I think a big part too is that some people follow hundreds or thousands of accounts. One account putting out a post can get lost in the abyss if it’s one of hundreds of posts. But yes, using hashtags, reposting or tagging specific accounts you think would be interested helps. I have also been experimenting with @AQSTR. I wouldn’t use it for every post but if there is something you want to receive a lot of attention like a new song release you can put up a few thousand sats and reward people for engaging.
