most llm harnesses use linear conversation logs. while familiar, I think it's limiting. what if we treated sessions like git branches instead? a DAG instead of a log.
I like the idea, but it might be a bit jarring for human users, who are accustomed to contextual relevance of past statements decaying with distance from the most recent. But human conversations are not fully linear either, we would need to combine/weight both approachs.
