@nprofile1q... so I don't blame you for equating deregulation with tax cuts because that's what a lot of right wingers actually mean when they talk about it, but to my knowledge the charter cities movement isn't at all focused on federal taxes. There isn't any proposal right now (and I doubt this leads to serious legislation) but considering not even living in another country exempts you from US taxes I would be surprised if making these cities a tax free zone was under consideration.
