Save wherever you please that wasn't my point. My point was that if you wish to buy in on Monero and have some sit there based on a speculative "in case it catches on" that mentality is damaging to the network.
Monero only has value from its use. It may be a good savings vessel over long term due to it's scarcity but scarcity is meaningless without demand. If you want to save a few in Monero, make sure you're spending in Monero too or else you're effectively leeching from the value created by those who do participate in the p2p economy.
We CANNOT allow Monero to be coopted by speculative HODLers, there's very little competition already in the privacy coin space we can't lose Monero.
