What about structural masonry? Do you have any of those kinds of jobs where the walls are entirely made of brick or stone? Or is that just too expensive these days?

I have not yet built a home from stone, I assume that’s what you’re asking. It would be expensive and no one has requested this.

I’ve had brick veneer requests (pictured recent project) which is not the same obviously.

I’ve done load bearing perimeter walls which is very expensive and labor intensive. It’s really cool when a client wants a project built from specific boulders, I have great respect for the masons who do the intense physical labor of these projects.

Have you seen what Monumental Labs is doing with stone CNC? It’s really cool and drastically reduces the cost of stonework. Micah Springut has done several podcasts. I really enjoyed the one by Building Culture. https://www.monumentallabs.co/ https://open.spotify.com/episode/0aTadyBkhvtZL5P4Whz...
