When I was researching setting up a paid relay, the only instructions I could find initially involved setting up a KYC account with Zebedee.

Didn’t want to touch that with a 15 foot pole. Kind of shocked that @nostrich​ would be there.

that's because nostr:npub1qqqqqqyz0la2jjl752yv8h7wgs3v098mh9nztd4nr6gynaef6uqqt0n47m via Nostream implemented the ZBD API first. a lot of other options and payment processes and even your own node exist now.
