Dude, if a police officer flashes its lights behind you, do you pull over? What if they arrest your friend in the passenger seat? Does that mean you are "compromised?"

The only information Protonmail was able to hand over from what I read is payment information. Protonmail gives plenty of anonymous payment options, including just NOT paying.

The fact that protonmail was able to turn over their user's payment information is not proof that they are compromised. Rather, the fact that the authorities didn't get MORE information is proof that Protonmail is legit.

I am just telling it as it is. Every centralised/company model is so easy to corrupt. It's easy to setup for intel agencies without loosing control. It's a honeypot that you can milk as long as people put trust into centralised third parties, like banks, central banks, states, cloud providers, app ...
