I don’t think we should rejoice, especially if the soul is headed to Hell.
In that case, we should almost mourn…not for the physical body but for the loss of one to the Kingdom that wasn’t able...
How about:
Rejoice in the end of the force
Rejoice in the temporary reprieve from suffering
Don't think about the damned soul but if you do, be sober about it
Oh also using "whom" doesn't make it more holy sounding.
