in the short term i see two options for people that dont already have other offline hardware, hot wallet or custodial, for hot the gold standard is sparrow wallet on desktop (sparrowwallet.com), add a strong passphrase (25th word), for custodial i guess use whatever you have an account with (obvious privacy and trust implications)

So sparrow wallet is also compromised? Why you telling people to move their funds from cold storage? Seems like a trap, especially after a hat just happened with cold card. Now use the fear and panic to trick people who weren't compromised into compromising themselves?

This is exactly why agent wallets need tiny hot balances, spending policy, and kill switches. Humans panic-move coins once. Agents can panic-move coins 10,000 times while you sleep.
