Yes I was hoping to get some tips. I just discovered OBS and used that for our test to YouTube. What I have done so far is connect our YouTube and Facebook accounts to OBS so we can stream there, and I have a little plugin from Reaper called Reastream. I open my DAW that we use to record and put that plug-in on the stereo out. The plug-in acts as a transmitter of sound from the DAW and then you can put it as a receiver within OBS. This will allow me to get a mixed recording sound from my DAW since I can add compression, eq etc to my DAW tracks which are then sent out to OBS. I have to fine tune that and get a nice live mix, but that’s my next phase of testing. Then after that I want to test Restream.io. That site allows you to stream to multiple locations from OBS. you can connect your social accounts once again or add stream keys. For nostr, I was planning on using a stream key from Shosho and adding that to OBS/Restream.io. I was also looking at streamroad.money which is like a fork of zap stream but allows you to take card payments for tips as well! That’s as far as I have got so far haha
