Were you successful? I just picked up a study guide and am going for 2 weeks to pass the general test.
Tech and General took me about a month each of listening to the audio book and taking a couple dozen practice exams on HamStudy… the extra is requiring a lot more visual aspects between electronic components in schematics, smith chart, and the formulas, so I really needed a physical copy to look at
