@nprofile1q... i do this, because i noticed that every time i use the self-scan cassa i'm flagged for a check by a clerk, which messes up the order of things in my bag (so squishy stuff doesn't get squished) and in total takes more time than using the traditional human-manned cassa. so there is absolutely no benefit for me using the self-scan cassa.
