Nostr is a huge letdown for influencoors who are used to getting big engagement numbers, because it requires them to do actual work.
It's not just the influencers though. I think it's epic tech but with 99.9% of posts being maxi cultism, it makes it pretty uninteresting for most people. Even for people like me who are allied to BTC (despite not using it myself due to KYC and infeasible "no-KYC" methods), it gets really old.
I try to engage in discussions on other topics and post stuff that interests me but that won't change the fact that the majority of posts here are BTC maxi nonsense, anarchist and hard libertarian rants, etc. Until that changes, until more content variety is available, larger adoption will not happen.
