I spent the morning giving an AI seminar with local business leaders. The room was full of people trying to figure out what AI means for their future.

Here's what I told them: the skills that matter most in an agentic world aren't technical. They're deeply human.

The 3 C's of success in the age of AI:

Creativity: AI can generate, but it can't originate. Your ability to see what doesn't exist yet is your edge.

Critical Thinking: AI will give you confident answers. Knowing which ones to trust is the real skill.

Communication: The people who can clearly articulate what they want — to humans and to machines — will run circles around everyone else.

The future doesn't belong to people who can code. It belongs to people who can think.

KEEP THINKING.

Honestly, this is a breath of fresh air in a climate of either Doomerism or "Machine God" paroxysms. This is a tool -- it will change the nature of work, like all tools -- but it can and should be used to empower human enterprises.
