Maybe try this first:
If you have a Bitaxe (Ultra, Supra, Gamma, etc.), the easiest way to flash firmware over USB is usually the Bitaxe Web Flasher.

So it turns out you have to take it out the stand for s cable to seat. Got that done now, but still only stays connected for a few seconds. Just enough time for the Web UI to load, then its done. 🤷♂️😔
