@nprofile1q... I remember reading something similar about how fly larvae form memories that are not erased by the near complete reconstruction of their brains during metamorphosis too. I don't remember if anything was mentioned about memory inheritance though. I wonder how this compares to the flies & if they preserve their memories in the same way or if they do it in a different way.
